I am going to send you what my Father has promised

さあ、わたしは、わたしの父の約束してくださったものをあなたがたに送ります

　さあ、わたしは、わたしの父の約束してくださったものをあなたがたに送ります。
あなたがたは、いと高き所から力を着せられるまでは、都にとどまっていなさい。」
　それから、イエスは、彼らをベタニヤまで連れて行き、手を上げて祝福された。
　そして祝福しながら、彼らから離れて行かれた。
　彼らは、非常な喜びを抱いてエルサレムに帰り、
いつも宮にいて神をほめたたえていた。

  I am going to send you what my Father has promised;
but stay in the city until you have been clothed with power from on high."
 When he had led them out to the vicinity of Bethany, he lifted up his hands and blessed them.
 While he was blessing them, he left them and was taken up into heaven.
 Then they worshiped him and returned to Jerusalem with great joy.
