こうして神は、大空を造り...

ついで神は「大空よ。水の間にあれ。水と水との間に区別があるように。」と仰せられた。
こうして神は、大空を造り、大空の下にある水と、大空の上にある水を区別された。するとそのようになった。
神は、その大空を天と名つ゛けられた。こうして夕があり、朝があった。第二日。

And God said,“Let there be an expanse between the waters to separate water from water.”
So God made the expanse and separated the water under the expanse from the water above it. And it was so.
