his incomparably great power for us who believe

私たち信じる者に働く神のすぐれた力

　また、あなたがたの心の目がはっきり見えるようになって、
神の召しによって与えられる望みがどのようなものか、
聖徒の受け継ぐものがどのように栄光に富んだものか、
また、神の全能の力の働きによって
私たち信じる者に働く神のすぐれた力がどのように偉大なものであるかを、
あなたがたが知ることができますように。

　I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened
in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you,
the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints,
and his incomparably great power for us who believe.
That power is like the working of his mighty strength,
