Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you

きょうダビデの町で、あなたがたのために、救い主がお生まれになりました

　さて、この土地に、羊飼いたちが、野宿で夜番をしながら羊の群れを見守っていた。
　すると、主の使いが彼らのところに来て、主の栄光が回りを照らしたので、彼らはひどく恐れた。
　御使いは彼らに言った。「恐れることはありません。今、この民全体のためのすばらしい喜びを知らせに来たのです。
　きょうダビデの町で、あなたがたのために、救い主がお生まれになりました。この方こそ主キリストです。
　あなたがたは、布にくるまって飼葉おけに寝ておられるみどりごを見つけます。これが、あなたがたのためのしるしです。」

   And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night.
   An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified.  But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. 
Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord.
This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.” ~ Luke 2:8-12 ~
